2015 Design Team Introducing Lesa Bird

#couturecreationsaus

Hi Lesa here,
I have been scrapbooking for around 13years, and simply love it.
As a single person with no children, I tend to scrapbook, about my holidays, and this is a great way to keep my holiday memories alive, I also feature, my 3 beautiful nieces, other family members do also pop up here and there.
My style, well I would say it is, simplistic with a touch of romance, and sometimes I’ve been known, to step outside my comfort zone, try the new trends, and see how they incorporate with my style. This year you will see more pocket pages, popping up as I have only just started using them, and I’m loving the ease of getting all my holiday snaps into and album, along with my traditional layouts.
I am fortunate, to be asked back for a third term, with Couture Creations, and I’m enjoy the journey with this amazing Australian company.
So keep an eye out for my creations, as you follow the new 2015 Couture Creations Design Team.

Today we're making a quick card,

First I cut one of the Elegant Card Cuts, Coteaux Curls (2pc), a sheet of Vintage Rose pattern paper, trimming it to leave a small border, mat on cardstock,
and rematt on Vintage Rose Pattern Paper, then on to your card

from cardstock, cut 2 of the Flourishes from Elegant Card Cuts; Coteaux Curls, place these over top of your original Card Cuts frame
Using the large 2 way Glue, pump some glue, on to a your Non-stick Craft Mat, then using your finger, rub a little here, and there over cardstock mat, and sprinkle a little glitter, and shake of excess.

From the Vintage Rose Paper pad, cut a sentiment and double mat it, and pop it on your card, with Couture Creations 3D foam dots.

Cut one of the little birds From Kalini Lecturn & Bird intricutz collection, I've use core'dinations glitter silk red, to pop the bird off the card, I also backed him with black card.

Now to our flower, use the Kalini Falling Blossoms, cut one set in pattern paper,
and one set in cardstock,
Use a wooden skewer, to roll up each petal, on the 2 largest ones, spritzing with water will help, when rolling, the small flower I also cut from red Glitter cardstock,
use the all NEW Turbo Precision Glue Pen,  to layer the petals together.

Now arrange card elements in your style, add a few of the little 2mm Gemstones,
if you wish to add a little more bling, and your done.
 Hope you enjoy using, the
new Couture Creations Dies, but most of all have fun, with them.
