Thanks for the memories by Bridget Louw

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Today is my turn up on the Couture Creations blog and I started off making a card for the blog post. As luck would have it the darn thing would NOT cooperate and did not take shape as I wanted it to.  I was pretty annoyed as this is my last blog post for the DT.

So I thought to myself, hey lets pull out some of my golden oldies and put them up as a showcase of some of the beautiful products from Artdeco Creations I have had the privilege of working with over the years.

WELL..wasn't I in for a shock..I got all glassy eyed as I remembered all the fun times I have had with my fellow DT members over the years.

Below I will pop up some of the projects I have done over my few times on the DT but before I do I have something I need to say as my last hoorah.
(LOL this may be deleted but I hope not).

People, the world can be a harsh place. We all have different circumstances, we are all different people. Some people have emotional struggles, some have medical or financial struggles, some have struggles even their best friends know nothing about.
BUT through it all we all enjoy our craft so lets keep this one area of our lives pure and precious and kind.

Do not judge your fellow crafter, do not speak harshly of each other, do not gossip. Just be kind and be a good person.

Also support your stores..for some of us craft is our only social outlet, a break from whatever nasties life sometimes throw our way, so we need our stores to be there for us....darn it they are our therapy sometimes LOL. Ok getting off my tomato box now.

Thank you to all my fellow DT members over the years,
I have enjoyed getting to know you all.
To the past & current coordinators,
thanks for your patience when my DT posts have been late.

To the people at Artdeco Creations thank you for all the confidence
in my work and for all the yummy goodies
BUT...........
most importantly a HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGE thanks to each and every person who took the time to comment on my projects..sometimes those comments gave me such a boost when I needed it most.

God bless you all and keep crafting.

Lots of love
Bridget

So I am going to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU AND GOODBYE.

Throughout the 6 years that I have been apart of this wonderfully talented Design Team and awesome company, I have had many opportunities to share my passion for papercraft with you all.

I especially want to thank all those who have over the years read my blog posts and/or attended my classes for Artdeco including 5 Brisbane Paper Craft Expos which I have loved every moment of including all my crazy outfits...

Thank you all for letting me be MYSELF,
and putting up with the outfits and my sometimes "out there" antics....

Ritzy Elegant Fan card by Adriana Bolzon

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hi there everyone, Adriana here back on the Artdeco Creations blog today with another project created with the just new release collection -
Ultimate Crafts - Artdeco Creations "The Ritz Collection".
The Designer of this collection is the talented Australian "Sue Smyth"

In this collection there are 2 separate stamp sets, that compliment the collection - I want to showcase just one of the sets.
This stamp set has 4 images and some word sentiments. Along with some of the  Ultimate Crafts - Artdeco Creations "The Ritz Collection"  papers, hot foil stamps and dies I created this very Ritzy Elegant Fan Card, suitable for an invitation or birthday card.

Once I stamped the image of the elegant lady on to some white card stock,  I coloured the dress with watercolour pencils and then applied some Glitzin' Glamour Red Glitter Glue CO721979 over the image, this added a little sparkle to the dress image.

Black, Silver and Burgundy compliment each other so well together. The best thing about stamping the images is that you can colour them in any colour. I coloured this image with in a Burgundy red water colour pencil.

The products I used to create this card.

Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz Collection Forever Classy stamps ULT157841

With the Ultimate Crafts Black Cardstock ULT20007, I cut two of the

and placed them on each side of my card.

Using the GoPress & Foil Machine CO725032 and Silver Matte Foil CO725350 and
Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz Collection Artdeco Framed Columns Hotfoil stamp
ULT157868 I created these with smooth Black cardstock and then cut out the centre of the frame. I also created two foiling Classy Fans with the Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz Collection Artdeco Classy Fan Hotfoil stamp ULT157873

The background was created with the
Ultimate Crafts - The Ritz Collection Artdeco Crashing Waves Background Die ULT157864 with Ultimate Crafts Black Cardstock ULT20007 and Ultimate Crafts Carnelian Card stock ULT200068

Enchanted Party meets Vintage Rose Layout by Denise Boddey

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hello Denise here and I am excited to share this layout of my son and daughter in a renovated frame. I have made this layout with Enchanted Tea Party and Vintage Rose collections using more of the reds from Vintage Rose as they work well together with the red flower in Enchanted Tea Party.
Lots of layers and fussy cutting  with some resin molds Imaginarium chipboard and a little bit of micro beads.

I have also placed on the chipboard some micro-beads for texture.

Thank you for dropping by and viewing my creation.

Denise Boddey
