Hello fellow Papercrafters!
My name is Collette and I have been in love with paper all my life.
I remember cutting out and collecting those little paper dolls and their amazing wardrobes from a very young age; I still hunt them out today!

I opened a craft shop 14 years ago and of course I had a HUGE papercrafting department. I really enjoyed running classes and had an amazing group of ladies who come week after week, some for 14 years!
Although I love all forms of paper play, I am a passionate card maker and have a love of the more unusual ‘foundation’ cards. A few years ago I won Australia’s Card Maker of the Year, and feature most months in a variety of card making magazines.

I have also been on a few Design Teams which has been amazing fun!

I am a passionate You Tuber and love to bring my more creative cards to life with You Tube classes and am blessed to have thousands of followers from all around the world.

This September I retired and closed my shop. Many people have told me that I have not retired, I have just found more time to play with paper, how right they are lol!

I have had a long affiliation with Artdeco through Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts and am super thrilled to be part of their Design Team.

I am so happy to now share my very first blog post with you.

Hello papercrafters,

I love the new collection from Couture Creations 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas', and with Christmas fast approaching I thought I would create a little card for you, and of course I have made a video to show you how, just in case you want to play too! The collection is so very Christmassy, the colours and designs could be nothing else, just perfect!

My card features a layered and dimensional Christmas tree which is easy to create and adds so much fun and dimension to the card.

The background papers are so traditional and even a quick glance at the card shouts out 'Christmas! The addition of some sparkle and glitter add to the festive fun.

I have made a video that will show you step by step how I have made this card. I hope you enjoy it. Please don't forget to hit the subscribe button, found on the bottom right corner of my video, this way you will not miss a thing and it's free!
